ABOUT PRO-Tips:

PRO-Tips (Performance & Resource Optimization) is the feature of SCVMM which helps in generating some useful utilization reports like Capacity/Host/VM utilization with help of SCOM.
SCOM use SCVMM Management Packs to fetch the data for utilization and then generate the reports on different parameters based like weekly/monthly/daily or hours basis reports as per requirement.

To generate such reports, we need to integrate both SCVMM and SCOM Servers.

  1. Hi Mayank,

I am getting error while configuring PRO in SCVMM. It is giving Credential error. while I have created security group which is added in all server 'Local Administrators' group & SCOM Admin & SCVMM Admin is also added in that group.

    I am getting below error:

    Error (25907)
The credentials used to connect to Operations Manager's management group do not have the necessary permissions.

    Recommended Action
Try the operation again with different credentials or add the credentials to the Operations Manager Administrator Role.
